Documentation with Replication Files:

Directories:

+DNWR Matlab object model used to solve the model
FirstBest.m First best solution to model without wage rigidities and wage markups
FlexWage.m Solution to model under flexible wages
Model.m Top object in hierarchy that defines the model. All other objects are below this.
Numerics.m Settings for the numerical solution of the model.
	Parameters.m Parameter values.
SteadyState.m Solution and properties of steady state of model.
TransitionPath.m	Solution and properties of transitional dynamics of the model.

Procs Matlab procedures called by the object model for solution of model.

Progs Matlab programs that can be run to calculate the results in the paper
LongRunPC Calculates the results for Figures 6 and 8
ShortRunPC Calculate the results for Figure 9, Figure 10 and for the panels in Figure 11
SSWageDistribution	Calculate the results for Figure 7

Results Contains the ASCII text files with the results generated using the Matlab code.

Figures Contains Excel files that use the data from the ASCII files as well as the data empirical data and contain
the figures that are in the paper. The file names contain the numbers of the figures the file contains. Each
figure is included in both a Powerpoint format and in the black and white format used in the paper.
It also contains the EPS files for Figures 4 and 5 in the paper.

How to replicate the results:
(1) Run all the Matlab programs in the Progs subdirectory. The paths in the programs might need to be adjusted to adhere to the
directory structure of the computer that the code is executed on. This results were generated using these files using
	Matlab R2012a for PC.
